Position Overview The Assistant Food & Beverage Operations Manager plays a dual role in leading day‑to‑day food and beverage functions while also supporting the seamless execution of events throughout the hotel. This hands‑on position requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing team talent, and maintaining operational excellence. The role oversees our Restaurant, Lobby Bar, and Banquet operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, setup, and coordination of special events in collaboration with the Culinary, Banquet, and Event teams.

Manage schedules, forecasting, inventories, and payroll across Food & Beverage and Events.

Ensure full compliance with Hyatt standards and local regulations.

Monitor food and beverage cost controls to achieve financial goals.

Lead team members through training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and care.

Support the overall day‑to‑day operations of the Restaurant, Lobby Bar, and Banquet services.

Salary Range $57,000 – $65,000

Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of Hospitality Management experience preferred.

Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

Wine and beverage knowledge in an upscale or banquet setting preferred.

Refined verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Proficient computer skills (MS Office, POS systems, event management software).

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others and create memorable guest experiences.
