Overview
Operations Line Leader (Line Centric Team Leadership) at Dessert Holdings – Aurora, CO. The role leads a line-centric leadership team to achieve breakthrough production results, owning Safety, Quality, Production, Reliability and Material Usage Variants targets. This position collaborates with a Line Continuous Improvement Lead and a Maintenance Lead to drive operational excellence and employee engagement in a 24-hour, multi-shift environment. The typical hiring range is $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on education, experience, skills, location, and other factors. Owns system safety for the line/system and leads the plan to improve. Single point of ownership for line/system improvements; responsible for delivering line-targeted results including financials. Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching to team members. Build operator capability to identify, measure, and drive out losses on equipment. Identify training gaps for operators and technicians and develop and execute training plans. Drive continuous improvement and total employee involvement using lean manufacturing tools. Manage the on-shift safety, quality, and execution of the shift-specific improvement plan actions. Daily staffing and leadership of operators and technicians, including shift hand-offs and onboarding of new employees. Support team development, performance management, and incentives programs. Own accuracy and timeliness of shift performance metrics. Start-up and changeover execution; prioritize and plan maintenance activities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Management and 2+ years of related manufacturing experience. Prior supervisory or lead experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated capability in the application of Continuous Improvement tools. Demonstrated basic technical capability on at least one product platform. Shift flexibility including extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed. About Dessert Holdings
