$23-31/hr, depending on experience Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections using applicable inspection tools and calibration procedures Complete first article inspections and related forms as necessary Work with inspection equipment (e.g., optical comparator, profilometer, thread gauges, height gauges, etc.) Utilize GD&T tolerances to ensure conformance Read and interpret blueprints and related documentation Conduct Gage R&R studies as needed Maintain punctuality and dependable performance Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality inspection Experience with a variety of inspection tools and calibration procedures Ability to perform first article inspections and complete related forms Familiarity with inspection equipment (e.g., optical comparator, profilometer, thread gauges, height gauges, etc.) CMM experience is not required but is useful Strong with GD&T tolerances Strong math skills Ability to read and interpret information on blueprints Good computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.) Familiarity with Gage R&R studies Good references Triangle Engineering Corporation has been a premier mid-range precision machine shop in the Indianapolis area since 1964, with over 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 30+ CNC machines.
