Quality Inspector for one of our clients based in Dayton, OH. This is a contract to hire position.
Mandatory Skills:
Quality Check/Inspection experience with machines like
Hexagon-CMM ,
OGP/Ram Optical - Sprint MVP ,
CCP - Comparator, CC14 ,
CCP - C-Vision ,
George Products - Oasis ,
PC-DMIS ,
Measure-Fit , and
Measure-X 5+ years of experience in the above fields Strong knowledge of GD&T Strong drawing reading experience, capable of measuring dimensions of complicated profiles, cross-sections, etc. Preferred Skills: Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of the principles associated with Measurement & Test Equipment calibration, gage measurement repeatability and reproduce-ability, and measurement uncertainty - Gage R&R Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated experience in the interpretation of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, theories, and concepts as they apply to inspection activities Demonstrated experience in the ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications Knowledge of manufacturing techniques Demonstrated effective communication skills and strong organizational approach to performing work Responsibilities: Responsible for metrology and inspection operations, including programming and running CMM machines - preferably Hexagon Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to proactively seek solutions to a variety of challenges that require close interaction and strong communication with engineers, machinists, and inspectors, and other metrology-related stakeholders We are an equal opportunities employer and all your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
