EXPERIENCED IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL (BILINGUAL)
The Immigration Law Office of Moises L. Barraza, LLC is a family-run practice dedicated to providing high-quality, trustworthy immigration services to individuals and families. We are looking to add another experienced immigration paralegal to our team to assist with the growing demand for immigration services. This position is ideal for a competent individual seeking a long-term career with growth potential within our office. Position Overview :
The duties of an Experienced Immigration Paralegal at the Immigration Law Office of Moises L. Barraza, LLC include, but are not limited to: Providing direct assistance to Attorney(s) in Family-Based, Humanitarian, and EOIR-related cases; Managing clients, documents, forms, and preparing applications for assigned case types; Meeting with clients to prepare applications, ensuring forms are filled correctly, reviewed by the Attorney, and submitted on time; Managing incoming documents by communicating with clients to ensure timely submission according to guidelines; Answering client questions about case status or other issues that do not require Attorney attention; Managing time efficiently, focusing on in-person tasks and delegating remote tasks to assistants; Using technological resources ethically and effectively, including legal research tools, software, and AI, as directed by the attorney; Demonstrating personal initiative and suggesting improvements to workflow and efficiency. Qualifications :
Dedication to the Law Office’s mission of giving immigrants the best chance of success; Bilingual in Spanish and English required; Paralegal certificate preferred; At least three, preferably five, years of experience in an immigration law firm; Ability to conduct legal research, screening, drafting arguments, and case compilation independently; Experience with case management software; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Honest, self-motivated, reliable, and flexible; Strong problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills; Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and multitask; Capable of working independently and as part of a small team; Proficient in document, case, file, and task management; Basic computer skills required; Experience handling cases like I-485, I-589, U Visa, etc., independently. Salary and Hours :
Salary ranges from $55,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience. Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch. We promote work-life balance, with a 40-hour workweek and no evening or weekend hours. To Apply :
