Position Overview
We’re seeking a
passionate Immigration Attorney (2+ years of experience)
who wants to grow into a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in court, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of immigrants.
You’ll handle your own caseload, represent clients before USCIS and EOIR, draft persuasive legal filings, and mentor a dedicated team of paralegals. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn directly from a litigation-focused, entrepreneurial law firm and contribute to shaping the future of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
Advocate for Clients
Represent clients in adjustment of status, asylum, and naturalization interviews, as well as removal defense hearings before EOIR.
Litigation & Writing
Draft and file motions, briefs, and appeals with USCIS, EOIR, and the BIA.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor paralegals/legal assistants to ensure case quality and timely filings.
Case Preparation
Work on complex applications such as I-485, I-589, cancellation of removal, TPS, naturalization, U visas, and VAWA petitions.
Client Communication
Maintain regular, clear communication and manage deadlines.
Stay Current
Track immigration law and policy changes to strengthen case strategy.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney.
Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
Commitment to immigrant rights and client-centered representation.
