Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estate Planning and Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a full time, in office, salaried position between $50,000 to $60,000 depending on skills and experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, estate administration, probate litigation, civil litigation, and personal injury law. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and with minimal supervision. The Estate Planning and Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in preparing documents; scheduling appointments; billing; e-filing court documents; and preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and legal document drafting skills, along with knowledge of estate planning and court procedures. Responsibilities including but not limited to: Preparing inventories, deeds, and other probate documents Coordinating the distribution of assets Assisting attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial support, and post-trial activities Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and contracts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards Managing case files Performing document review and analysis to identify relevant information for cases Preparing exhibits and trial binders for court proceedings Interviewing clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases. Coordinating with external parties such as courts, clients, and opposing counsel regarding case matters Maintaining effective communication with attorneys regarding case progress and deadlines Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to litigation processes Performing other duties as necessary Skills Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting with a focus on estate planning and litigation. Strong knowledge of various areas of law. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents. Strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all written materials. Familiarity with project management principles to effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail. Effective phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills for client interactions. Experience with clerical tasks and administrative support within a legal environment.
