Probate Litigation Paralegal
to support its busy probate and trust litigation practice. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage a wide range of probate and civil litigation tasks while providing direct support to attorneys, including the firm’s senior partner. Base pay range
$60,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Preparing and filing general probate conservatorship petitions, subsequent filings, and supplements to address probate notes. Drafting and filing motions, ex parte applications, TROs, pleadings, complaints, answers, replies, petitions, and related documents. Preparing court-formatted accountings for estates and trusts. Handling filings related to Confirmation of Sale, publications, and related probate processes. Propounding discovery, responding to discovery, and coordinating documents for production. Assisting with trial preparation including exhibits, filings, and case organization. Title Transfers & Related Filings
Preparing and recording deeds, affidavits of change of trustee, preliminary change of ownership reports, and documentary transfer tax forms. Assisting with the transfer of LLC ownership interests. Additional Responsibilities
Drafting and filing powers of attorney, abstracts of judgment, and renewals. Managing calendars for up to two attorneys, including the senior partner. Providing general litigation and administrative support to ensure efficient case management. Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of solid litigation experience (probate/trust experience highly preferred). Paralegal certificate or equivalent training required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications. Strong organizational, proofreading, and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to prioritize deadlines, handle high-volume work, and problem solve independently. Professional discretion in handling sensitive and confidential client information. Job Details
