organized Nanny/Family Assistant
NEEDED for wonderful family in
Miami
with one six-year-old girl. This is a fun and active family who is hoping to find someone who will become an extension of their family for years to come! They need someone who can seamlessly switch between childcare and family assistant work – being
able to intuitively see what is needed and proactively tackle it.
Someone with a strong college education and child development background would be ideal for the family. This job would be ideal for someone right out of college with 2 or 3 years of experience as a camp counselor or family babysitter/mother helper during her college years. Responsibilities: Always ensuring the safety of the children Maintain a constant line of communication and report to the parents Taking child to and from playdates and other activities Packing and unpacking child’s belongings as needed when traveling Assist with laundry and light housekeeping of child’s rooms and play areas Prepare meals and snacks for the children Assist with kitchen cleanup after snacks Travel with the family as needed Running errands and procuring children’s supplies as needed Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of related experience working for private families Excellent references are required from current and previous employers Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, ideally with a focus in Psychology or Education Certification in CPR & First Aid Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Polished, poised, and professional Intelligent with strong problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Valid Driver’s License Open to Travel Family Assistant Experience Preferred Professional + Discreet SCHEDULE:
Primarily Mon-Fri ( 50 hours weekly ), plus
occasional evenings/overnights . Please be flexible to start earlier as needed (with advanced notice).
Flexibility is KEY! Live-in or out and local. COMPENSATION:
Target Annual Salary is $85-100K+ gross DOE Their ideal candidate is mature,
