Imaging/Radiology Front Office – Millennium Physician Group
No weekends! No holidays! No night shifts! Location: Charlotte and Sarasota counties, FL As a front office associate, you will be responsible for timely check-in and check-out, greeting patients with a warm smile and pleasant voice, and performing a variety of clerical functions for the radiology office. You will ensure all pre-radiology exam clerical workflows are completed in advance of patients’ arrival to ensure a satisfactory experience and outcome. You will assist with radiology office workflows such as medical records requests and transmission of results as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Verify office has a legible copy of radiology order for all scheduled exams prior to patients arrival unless the patient is brought to their appointment. Verify/update patient information with no errors, confirm accuracy of all registration data and paperwork on file, and communicate with Authorization team regarding appropriate insurance changes. Collect co-pays, deductibles and balances as noted in account; run/verify end of day reports and balance cash drawer. Schedule/reschedule appointments and monitor lobby and doorways for patient activity; maintain the waiting area so it is clean and comfortable for patients. Assist with answering phones and handle phone overflow as needed. Check lobby for patients to minimize wait time and communicate any expected wait times to patients. Ensure drawer balances at day’s end. Provide an exemplary patient experience. Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in all appropriate Athena, PACS, RIS workflows and processes. Confirm upcoming patient appointments in person or by telephone. Provide exam instructions/prep, any expected out-of-pocket amounts, facility address, appointment date and arrival time, and a callback number. Benefits
