People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking an

Administrative Specialist

to enhance the command's ability to achieve strategic objectives by providing a wide range of administrative products. Personnel will deliver analytical, technical, and administrative products that contribute to the command's mission of countering threats and supporting SOF personnel, operations, and campaigns.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

Serves as Civilian Personnel SME, advising the J1 Director and Civilian Personnel Manager on Air Force Civilian Personnel issues/actions, including Position Classification, Staffing, Employee Relations, Evaluations, and Awards policies and processes. Must research relevant regulations and laws to advise and brief senior personnel.

Prepares or reviews documents for Civilian Hiring actions, Position Description Reviews, and other personnel actions, including narrative descriptions, organization charts, and forms.

Coordinates PERSTAT submissions with subordinate units’ PERSTAT clerks, preparing daily input for USCENTCOM.

Performs as a Defense Travel System Technician, assisting travelers with authorizations, vouchers, and travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Supports Passport and Visa processing, managing applications, tracking dispatch, and ensuring accountability.

Advises on awards authorities and processes, producing error-free awards certificates/orders, and maintaining records.

Supports the SOCCENT Reserve Program, managing personnel assignments, training, and support for Reserve Component personnel.

Prepares staffing documents, correspondence, briefing slides, and coordinates staffing actions and assessments.

Monitors reports and learns J1 systems, including SOF Ready and CENTCOM PERSTATS.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

O-4/O-5/WO3-WO5/E7-E9 or GS-12 / Step 2 or higher equivalent experience.

5+ years experience in Government Civilian or military personnel systems.

Experience in preparing administrative, personnel, and awards documents.

Ability to interpret and synthesize source material into concise reports.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
