Assistant Professor, Management Northwood University seeks a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, significant industry experience, and a strong record of teaching at the undergraduate level to begin teaching in the Fall 2026 semester at our Midland, Michigan campus. The candidate will be hired with the rank of assistant professor.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in Management, Leadership, International Business, and Entrepreneurship.

Participate in ongoing curriculum planning and review.

Supervise internships and/or practicums.

Engage in research and scholarly activities.

Participate in professional and instructional development.

Serve on university committees.

Contribute to recruitment and retention activities.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Management, Entrepreneurship or closely related field from an accredited institution.

Significant industry experience in managerial or leadership roles and entrepreneurial experience.

Experience in training and/or teaching in management and entrepreneurship disciplines.

Ability to interact effectively with a wide and diverse range of students and colleagues.

Well-developed oral and written communication skills in a variety of delivery formats.

Preferred

Earned Doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited institution (such as J.D., Ph.D., OBA; ABD candidates considered if completion date is within one year of hire).

Experience teaching undergraduate courses.
