Job Summary
The
Operations Manager
for the Delta One Lounge at JFK will oversee the seamless execution of service across all front-of-house areas, ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects both Delta’s and Restaurant Associates’ standards of luxury hospitality. This role requires a hands-on leader with refined service expertise, operational acumen, and the ability to manage and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced, premium lounge environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and develop all front-of-house associates, ensuring flawless fine dining service and hospitality standards. Oversee daily operations across restaurant, bar, and market-style outlets, ensuring all guest touchpoints reflect the Delta One brand experience. Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative functions to ensure efficient labor and cost controls. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and service briefings to align staff on VIPs, flight schedules, and special events. Coordinate with culinary, beverage, and housekeeping teams to ensure consistent quality and service flow. Manage all reservation and seating systems to maximize capacity and guest satisfaction. Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with guests and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Ensure all FOH areas maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Uphold and reinforce all health, safety, and security standards within an airport environment. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality. 5–8 years of upscale dining or hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop service-focused teams. Strong operational and financial skills, including labor management and inventory control. Proficiency with POS, payroll, and reservation systems; Microsoft Office suite required. Exceptional communication, organization, and guest engagement skills. Professional demeanor, polished appearance, and ability to thrive under pressure. Experience working within airport or travel lounge environments preferred. Benefits
