Role: Area Manager at Quince.com in the Returns Warehouse. Lead a team within daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and performance, while developing and motivating associates and leads, implementing process improvements, and supporting the growth of the fulfillment network. Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of associates and leads, ensuring high engagement, performance, and safety during daily operations. Oversee the fulfillment center’s day-to-day activities, meet productivity requirements, achieve business objectives, and maintain the customer experience. Support safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance to provide a safe work environment for all associates. Identify, lead, and execute process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with other Area Managers to balance labor and optimize shifts for efficiency and goal attainment. Review weekly forecasts and track KPIs to ensure daily production targets are met. Train and develop the team to enhance skills, resolve challenges, and ensure smooth workflow. Uphold all compliance policies, including food safety and general regulatory standards, within the operations. Perform additional duties as required to ensure successful operation of the fulfillment center. Physical Requirements

Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts (up to 12 hours). Work in an environment with variable noise levels and temperature fluctuations. Frequently climb and descend stairs. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays, as needed. Established track record of ownership, accountability, and driving results. Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing a team of 20+ hourly employees. Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles and process improvements. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Industry experience in retail, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, or distribution is highly preferred. Note: Compensation is determined based on market indicators and the role, background, skills, and experience. Bonus eligibility varies by role and impact to strategic goals.
