As Sr Director of PayPal USA Commercial Leader, this executive will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and commercial initiatives that drive profitable revenue growth and increase market share across PayPal’s suite of consumer financial products and checkout share of wallet in the USA. Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities Lead negotiations with external partners and coordinate cross-functional support to ensure successful delivery of solutions for large, complex partnerships Develop and execute a business strategy to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities Engage closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams to influence architectural runway and determine the best technical implementation/design Represent the end customer to drive prioritization and decision-making New business opportunities and ongoing customer feedback to inform strategy Expected Qualifications
12+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience Responsibilities and Required Capabilities
Significant experience leading USA commercial strategy and execution within consumer-facing technology, payments, fintech, or related industries Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, operations, finance, and IT/technology Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives with a full go-to-market approach and delivering measurable financial results and customer outcomes Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and influence multiple stakeholders Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable monetization plans Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate strategy to senior stakeholders Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred Ideal Candidate
