Assistant Product Manager I – TAS Energy Be among the first 25 applicants. TAS Energy is hiring an Assistant Product Manager I to support the development and execution of product strategies across our growing portfolio of packaged modular systems. This role offers hands‑on experience in cross‑functional collaboration, market analysis, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a major task or function of a project and serve as a backup customer interface at the technical task level.

Support or back up the interface with internal resources at the technical and commercial task level.

Coordinate with suppliers on scope, commercial, and schedule issues and orchestrate internal resources needed for project execution (materials, QA/QC, fabrication, engineering, service).

Assume full customer interface for engineering, delivery, and construction issues during the pre‑award stage.

Conduct periodic project budget reviews, prepare forecasts, and solicit project change orders where appropriate.

Implement risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle and ensure lessons learned are captured.

Coordinate startup, commissioning, and training needs with the Service Department and expedite project closeout.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of project engineering or project management experience with a significant level of experience in packaged equipment.

Experience in industrial HVAC, energy service contracting (ESCO), geothermal process, or data center applications.

Project cost estimating, construction management, risk management, and vendor management experience.

Strong contract management skills and ability to set priorities and work independently.

Education and Training

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four‑year program. A P.E. license and financial coursework would be a plus.

Military leadership or technical work experience may be considered in lieu of an engineering degree.

Job Skills

Sound knowledge of business management principles, strong negotiation skills, and excellent communication.

Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and relevant databases; familiarity with ANSI, ASME, API, and OSHA standards.

Special Requirements

Extensive domestic and international travel.

Ability to work in field construction locations, including climbing ladders.

Physical Requirements

Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with a computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.

Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision necessary for data analysis and computer operation.
