Warehouse & Logistics Manager | Full-Time
Location: Mebane, NC | Employment Type: Permanent | Salary: USD 100,000 – 115,000.
Job Overview The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees the efficient operation of the distribution facility, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of products while maintaining inventory accuracy. This role manages related warehouse locations and drives process improvements to optimize productivity and labor efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain warehouse capacity and assess material handling systems to meet delivery requirements.
Manage the flow of finished goods, accessories, replacement parts, and samples through the distribution center.
Supervise shift managers and coordinate activities of 30–50 employees via supervisory staff.
Recruit, train, plan, assign, and appraise warehouse personnel to maintain labor efficiency.
Develop and enforce procedures for receiving, storage, shipping, inventory accuracy, and safety.
Communicate effectively within the department and with other teams to meet operational goals.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor performance, KPIs, and audits.
Conduct efficient meetings, set clear goals, and foster team accountability and motivation.
Participate in annual budgeting and expense control to ensure financial objectives.
Enforce company policies, maintain compliance, and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
5 to 10 years of warehouse experience with at least 5 years managing warehouse operations.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to change, prioritize tasks, and make timely decisions.
Demonstrated leadership and team motivation capabilities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and hand use.
Ability to lift and carry objects between 0–50 lbs frequently.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Exposure to varying conditions including noise, dust, and uneven surfaces.
Adherence to safety protocols including PPE use and participation in safety meetings.
