A Day in the Life You’ll arrive on first shift to a busy production floor, coordinating maintenance priorities while guiding technicians through electrical and automation tasks. Your morning may start with diagnosing a PLC fault, reviewing HMIs to fine‑tune machine parameters, and walking lines to verify safety interlocks and emergency stops. By midday, you could be commissioning a newly installed VFD, interpreting European and American schematics for a troubleshooting plan, and updating a layout in AutoCAD. In the afternoon, you might assist with a robot teach point, tune a SCADA tag, and present a packaging prototype concept for stakeholder feedback—always with an eye toward safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
