VHB is looking for a
Senior Land Development Project Manager
to join our growing Land Development team in Tampa, FL. This role offers an opportunity to drive innovative, sustainable projects across Florida.
Overview As a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate with transportation planners, environmental scientists, engineers, and other experts to deliver transformative projects throughout Tampa and beyond.
Responsibilities
Develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for large-scale institutional, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Lead and mentor a civil engineering team, providing technical and career guidance.
Support land development design and permitting documents and manage project scope, budget and schedule.
Prepare and review drawings and specifications, attend client and regulatory meetings, and supervise construction administration.
Manage junior staff and small to large tasks while driving business development initiatives, client relationships, and market presence in Florida.
Skills and Attributes
Proficient in MS Office, ICPR, WaterCAD, StormCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong site layout, grading, utility, erosion/sediment control, and stormwater management skills.
Knowledge of land development construction codes and regulations.
Excellent design, communication, leadership, and business development abilities.
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
8+ years of professional site/civil engineering experience, including consulting or private sector.
PE licensure required.
Florida market experience, particularly greater Tampa area, required.
