Quality Inspector
Title: Quality Inspector
Reports to: Quality Manager
Location: Bedford, NH
Quantic TRM specializes in the design and manufacture of RF/Microwave components and integrated subsystem assemblies. Since 1970, we have served defense and space contractors by providing expert engineering solutions and highly reliable, innovative products.
Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and final products per work instructions and customer specifications.
Conduct dimensional and testing evaluations of components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
Create and maintain proper inspection records, including written records, photographs, ERP system entries, and QCMR reports.
Perform internal testing such as leak tests and x-rays at outside locations.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and improvement initiatives.
Organize work and storage areas for efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Competency in visual inspection utilizing work instructions and workmanship criteria.
Proficiency using basic hand tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and Accugage.
Ability to read and understand complex drawings, instructions, and specifications.
Familiarity with ISO9001 or similar Quality Systems.
Basic mathematical skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong decision‑making abilities and teamwork in a dynamic workflow environment.
US citizenship; high school diploma; at least three years of general inspection experience.
Inspection certification to IPC‑610.
