Overview
In order to reach youth who are currently unable to access a Club, the Mobile Clubhouse Experience brings the Club and its services where they are needed most. The mission of the Mobile Clubhouse Experience is simple: Every kid eats. Every kid Learns. Every kid Thrives. The part-time Mobile Youth Specialist is responsible for mobile program implementation, youth program quality, administrative compliance and safety.
Responsibilities
Mobile Program Implementation: Accountable for assigned programming and activities; provide age-appropriate services and activities to youth; promote and maintain a culture of safety; create a fun and engaging learning environment; ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
Youth Program Quality: Maintain fidelity of curriculum; deliver quality programming and activities; implement YPQ techniques.
Administrative Compliance: Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time; collect and manage required data and reporting; ensure accuracy of data and reporting; ensure completion of program assessment and measurement activities; comply with administrative policies and procedures; ensure accurate and timely collection and review of membership applications and paperwork; utilize all BGCGTC communication tools regularly.
Requirements Education and Work Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
Experience working with youth is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to work during program hours
Ability to be a positive role model
Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
Ability to relate to at-risk youth
Ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Knowledge of technology and software such as tablets, social media, cloud-based tools, and virtual meeting tools
Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens
Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual
Ability to facilitate, teach or instruct
Work experience with or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement is an advantage
Salary
Hourly pay: $14.00
