About the Role Mother Parkers is seeking a hands‑on and collaborative

Continuous Improvement Manager

to join the leadership team at our Fort Worth Plant. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and performance improvement across all production and packaging operations. The successful candidate will help drive the site’s Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, aligning initiatives with the company’s Operational Excellence Roadmap and ensuring sustainable improvements that enhance plant competitiveness, efficiency, and profitability.

The

Continuous Improvement Manager

will play a key leadership role in identifying opportunities for improvement, executing Lean Six Sigma projects, and fostering a proactive culture of continuous learning and innovation throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the plant’s Continuous Improvement Program, ensuring alignment with Mother Parkers’ Operational Excellence Roadmap and site performance metrics (SQCDPE).

Identify and support process improvement opportunities across manufacturing, packaging, and maintenance operations using Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies.

Collaborate with the Senior Plant Manager and cross‑functional teams to plan, implement, and sustain improvement projects that reduce costs and improve yield, safety, and quality.

Lead value stream mapping sessions and establish a pipeline of continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, and Visual Factory activities.

Track and report CI progress using defined KPIs; quantify and communicate financial impacts of savings, efficiencies, and process gains.

Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure standardization of best practices and alignment with the Maintenance Excellence Program.

Coach and mentor plant leaders and operators in Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and structured problem‑solving techniques to strengthen CI capability across the organization.

Support change management initiatives to sustain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation at all levels of the plant.

Encourage the practical use of technology and data tools (Excel, Power BI) to support real‑time performance monitoring and root‑cause analysis.

Balance prioritization of improvement projects to optimize operational results and resource utilization.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Operations (or equivalent manufacturing experience).

Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).

3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment, with at least 2 years leading CI implementation initiatives.

Strong technical understanding of Lean manufacturing systems, process control, and performance measurement tools.

Experience in project management, from concept to completion, including resource planning, execution, and evaluation. (PMP certification an asset.)

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI or CI tracking tools.

Excellent leadership, facilitation, and communication skills with proven success influencing across teams and shifts.

Analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to apply data‑driven logic to problem‑solving and process optimization.

Team Size:

May include CI Engineers or Technicians (project‑based).

Internal Collaboration:

Works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

External Collaboration:

Partners with corporate Operational Excellence leaders and external technical consultants as needed.

Leadership Expectations:

Leads by example, fostering accountability, teamwork, and a continuous improvement mindset. Coaches and mentors team members to build site‑wide CI capability and succession readiness.
