The Sales Engineer will serve as a critical link between customers and ACEMCO’s technical capabilities, combining engineering expertise with a customer-focused sales approach. This role is directly responsible for researching and networking to identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, establishing contact with and the development of prospective customers to secure new and additional business. Additionally, this role will assist in the management of established accounts. Provide feasibility and problem-solving support to existing and prospect customers during the sales process, working closely with customers to understand their engineering requirements, product specifications, and application challenges. Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and program management teams to develop feasible, cost-effective solutions aligned with ACEMCO’s manufacturing capabilities. Prepare and deliver presentations that provide technical and commercial solutions that clearly communicate the value proposition to prospective and existing customers. Secure request for quotes and communicate customer expectations to leadership and the internal estimating department to initiate, process and deliver proposals. Participate in the RFQ processes by reviewing technical drawings, creating accurate cost estimates, and supporting competitive, profitable pricing strategies that target customer needs on time. Partner with the Vice President to identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and target markets, including automotive, heavy-duty truck, recreation, defense, utility, furniture, agriculture, and any other market identified to target. Provide ongoing technical and commercial support and guidance throughout the entire sales cycle, from concept and prototype development to production launch and post-delivery follow-up. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor products to proactively recommend product improvements, innovations, or new offerings. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, project milestones, and pipeline opportunities within CRM systems. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits to promote ACEMCO’s capabilities and maintain strong client relationships. Travel to customer facilities as needed for project reviews, technical discussions, and relationship-building activities. Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years

of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role within the metal fabrication manufacturing markets with proven results. Bachelor’s degree

in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, or related discipline) is preferred, additional business or sales coursework a plus. Strong knowledge

of manufacturing processes, including metal stamping, laser cutting, welding, and tooling. Strong familiarity

with cost structure, pricing strategies and understanding of the balance between pricing, being competitive and profitability. Proven ability

to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements. Excellent communication

and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency

in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and CAD viewing software. Strong problem-solving

and project management skills, with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work independently

and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Familiarity

with industry quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO9001, APQP, and PPAP is preferred.
