Member Duties
Member Duties :
As a Mentor Coordinator, you will ensure volunteer mentors understand the Village Mentoring model, their roles, and are trained and resourced to provide high-quality experiences. You will foster communication between mentors, mentees, staff, and the community, build strong relationships, and support chapter growth. This includes maintaining a 1:1 mentor-mentee ratio, recruiting, preparing for transitions, and ensuring compliance with youth documents and background checks. Experience of Service: You will serve 10–15 hours per week, primarily late afternoons/evenings and some weekends. Responsibilities include meetings, trainings, weekly Village Mentoring programs, and regular communication with mentors and the regional team. You will also attend weekly support meetings and serve for the full academic year.
