OVERVIEW : The F&I Warranty Manager serves as the central contact for warranty and product protection management across all dealership locations and partner dealers. This role oversees warranty claim processing, ensures accuracy and compliance, and supports both internal teams and external partners. By maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and third‑party providers, the F&I Warranty Manager maximizes reimbursements, reduces denials, and drives consistency in warranty practices company‑wide.

Success in this role requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship‑management skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience (FANS).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Embrace and promote MarineMax's values, mission statement, and vision, fostering a team culture aligned with the company’s goals.

Ensure adherence to all company, state, and federal laws and regulations, minimizing exposure and risk.

Report potential risks and support audits or compliance reviews related to warranty processes and documentation.

Oversee and review warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.

Track and follow up on open or disputed claims to ensure prompt resolution.

Identify causes of delays or denials and implement corrective actions to improve claim outcomes.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all warranty activities and customer interactions.

Support daily administration of the extended warranty program to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Maintain effective relationships with warranty providers, manufacturers, and partner dealers to resolve disputes and improve claim success rates.

Support dealership Business Offices and Service Departments in managing escalated warranty issues.

Serve as liaison for external dealers enrolled in MarineMax product offerings, coordinating onboarding, portal setup, and training.

Provide a professional, empathetic, and customer‑focused approach in all communications.

Analyze warranty data across MarineMax, Newcoast, and partner dealers to identify trends and training needs.

Recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Provide management with regular reports and actionable insights on warranty performance, approval/denial ratios, and dealer engagement.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Deliver monthly insights and actionable data on warranty performance and trends.

Improve consistency, compliance, and efficiency across dealership and partner warranty processes.
