Base Pay Range $17.00/hr – $19.00/hr
Patient Service Representative – Temporary - Draper Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a temporary full‑time Patient Services Representative in Family Medicine / Internal Medicine at our Draper clinic.
Overview We’re seeking a confident, self‑motivated, and compassionate individual. Receptionists play a vital role in supporting our patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring exceptional care. As the first point of contact, strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
Schedule M‑Th 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
This is a full‑time, temporary position, with a duration of three – four months.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Previous medical billing / office experience.
Experience in scheduling appointments.
Maintain a professional and courteous phone demeanor when communicating with patients, providers, and staff.
Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Collaborative team player who enjoys working with people and contributing to a positive work environment.
Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required.
Strong typing and computer skills required, and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), email, scheduling software, and basic word processing tools.
Essential Functions and Duties
Warmly greet patients arriving for medical or other services in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer telephones in a professional manner.
Schedule appointments in accordance with established procedures.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff and patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.
Record all demographic information necessary to contact patient and/or bill insurance carrier for services provided.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10 lbs.
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
Inside, climate‑controlled working conditions.
