Applicator‑Operations Technician
Under the direction of the Location Leader, you will operate equipment to perform custom application including but not limited to liquid fertilizer, dry fertilizer, pre and post chemicals, and lime. Responsibilities
Operate necessary equipment to perform customer application
Handle agricultural chemicals and fertilizers
Drive tender truck to fill post sprayer as needed
Understand chemical rates, uses, and restrictions
Maintain and assist in the operations of the facility
Perform outside maintenance
Perform basic maintenance on application equipment
Perform daily maintenance checks on all running equipment and trucks
Prepare grain rail cars and load cars according to specifications as needed
Abide by all AgState values and practices by working in a safe and efficient manner
Always display superior customer service
Demonstrate work habits that build and support the team concept
Work overtime as needed
Perform the essential functions of the job and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat & tanker endorsement
Must have a clear driving record
Commercial applicator license
Prior applicating experience is preferred
