Applicator-Operations Technician
Join our team at AgState under the direction of the Location Leader. You will operate equipment to perform custom application including liquid fertilizer, dry fertilizer, pre and post chemicals, lime, and other agrochemical operations. This role requires a team atmosphere with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
You Will:
Operate necessary equipment to perform customer application.
Handle Ag chemicals and fertilizer.
Drive Tender truck to fill post sprayer as needed.
Understand chemical rates, uses, and restrictions.
Maintain and assist in the operations of the facility.
Perform outside maintenance and basic maintenance on application equipment.
Conduct daily maintenance checks on all running equipment and trucks.
Prepare grain rail cars and load cars according to specifications.
Abide by all AgState values and practices by working in a safe and efficient manner, displaying superior customer service, and demonstrating teamwork.
Work overtime as needed.
Perform the essential functions of the job and other duties as assigned.
You Have:
Class A CDL with Hazmat & tanker endorsement.
Commercial Applicator License.
Prior applicating experience preferred.
