Team Leader , you’ll provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll serve as the front-line manager to provide leadership and development of tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office-related growth objectives. We’ll help you advance your knowledge and skills to excel with us as you serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates. Responsibilities

Lead and develop a customer-centric team of tax office associates to deliver an outstanding client experience Accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office Provide leadership and development for associates, ensuring work is completed on time with quality standards Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management Prepare tax returns as required Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with appropriate escalation Partner with District General Manager to implement office growth plans and manage local partnerships Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions Serve as the point of contact for escalated client service concerns Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure proper client appointments Qualifications

Prior experience in customer service, shift leadership, or a similar role Experience supervising or managing people Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns) Annual completion of continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements Computer proficiency with MS Office Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; customer-centric mindset Flexibility in work schedule and assignments based on business needs High school diploma or equivalent (or higher) Why work for us
