Delivery Specialist - Hub at
O'Reilly Auto Parts
is responsible for delivering parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, and deliver to the appropriate store. Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines. Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Deliveries must be made according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and the stores on the route. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management. Clock in/out according to company policy. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating the vehicle each day. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively. Qualifications
Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system. Desirable
