Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route, deliver to the appropriate store.
Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure, and follow accident report guidelines.
Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
Deliveries must be made according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores on route.
Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations; communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
Clock in/out according to company policy.
Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating the vehicle each day.
Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager and ensure the fuel tank is filled, lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day's business.
Drive safely and defensively.
Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
Desired Qualifications
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
