Pay Range

Job Summary We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Distribution Supervisor search in the Kalamazoo, MI area.
Responsibilities
Supervise and motivate a small team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficiency and a positive work environment while engaging in daily tasks.
Operate tow motors and RF scanners for inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving, following best warehouse practices.
Train new and existing staff on safe procedures, equipment use, and efficiency best practices.
Oversee stock counts, rotation, and accuracy checks to optimize storage and minimize discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conduct safety audits, and address hazards proactively.
Requirements
Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, is required.
Candidates must possess a valid forklift certification and demonstrate proficiency in operating tow motors and RF scanning equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively leading a team and interacting with other departments and management.
