Testing and visually inspecting machinery and equipment. Troubleshooting machinery and equipment. Dismantling defective machines and equipment and installing new or repaired parts. Cleaning and/or lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installing and repairing electrical apparatus as determined by training and skill set of technician. Performing the following maintenance activities: advanced electrical work, facility repairs, hydraulic, pneumatic and pump repairs and maintenance, basic to advanced HVAC, masonry, carpentry & plumbing. Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic. Preferred manufacturing experience. Mechanical experience/knowledge preferred. Advanced electrical ability. Advanced programming preferred. Safety
Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines. Knows emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc. Wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Understands and identifies Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately. Basic to Advanced PLC
Follows plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Hourly rate ranges from $25.00-$37.00/hr. Rate varies based on experience with opportunity for added incentives such as: Benefits
