WarHorse Gaming, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Buyer
to join our Finance team. The Buyer plays a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services that support the operational needs of our growing organization. This position ensures timely delivery of quality products at the best value, maintains positive vendor relationships, and supports compliance with company policies, budgets, and purchasing regulations. Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service. Prepare and issue purchase orders, solicit bids, and negotiate terms and pricing. Track requisitions, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Partner with internal departments to forecast supply needs and maintain proper inventory levels. Resolve vendor issues related to quality, delivery delays, or pricing discrepancies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Monitor supplier performance and support contract renewals. Seek cost-saving opportunities through vendor negotiations, bulk purchasing, and alternative products. Maintain purchasing documentation and supplier records in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. Prepare and present purchasing activity and cost trend reports as needed. Communicate effectively with departments regarding order status, changes, and alternatives. Support WarHorse’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all purchasing activities. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience accepted. Experience: 0–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience required; hospitality, gaming, or manufacturing experience preferred. Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and organization Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
