Hiring Process
Review of application against job requirements.
Video interview for hiring manager.
Possible test or short project.
Interview with hiring manager / interview team (face‑to‑face or Zoom).
Decision and offer discussion.
Key Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of a suite of e2e/UI tests in Playwright (TS), covering critical user scenarios.
Performing manual testing of features (planning, test design, regression, exploratory).
Integration and optimization of test runs in CI (parallelization, stabilization, flakiness metrics).
Setting up reporting and observability for automated tests (traces, video, flake analytics).
Collaboration with engineering and product: requirements clarification, defect reproduction, and testability improvement.
Maintaining the quality of test data and environments.
Use of n8n: building and maintaining workflows for QA/integrations (HTTP Request, Webhook/Trigger nodes, Function/Code).
Use of AI in work: practical use of LLM tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot/Codeium to optimize testing tasks.
Qualifications
Experience in QA 3‑5 years, including 1.5+ years of automation.
Strong Playwright skills: Test Runner, fixtures, projects, parallelization, sharding, auto‑wait/locators, stable selectors, flake handling, BrowserContext/Page, environment isolation, test data management, tracing, video/screenshots, network mocking, APIRequestContext, Page Object/Screenplay patterns, project structure, reusability.
Experience with no‑code/low‑code automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Gumloop, Zapier, Make).
Familiarity with AI‑assisted QA tools.
Advanced mid‑level JavaScript/TypeScript: async/await, promises, modules, TS typing, interfaces, generics, NPM/Yarn, Node.js scripts, ESLint/Prettier configuration.
Manual testing: requirements analysis, creation of test documentation, test design techniques, types of testing.
API testing: REST, Postman/Swagger.
Browser DevTools: network, storage, cookies, CORS, headers, status codes.
Databases: solid SQL, basic test data handling.
CI/CD and VCS: Git (branching, PR, code review), automation integration into CI (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), artifacts, reports, container/headless test execution, dependency management, caching.
Processes: Scrum/Kanban experience, working with Jira/Confluence.
English: reading documentation and written communication (Intermediate+).
Soft skills: autonomy, systems thinking, ability to argue, accuracy in documentation, readiness to mentor and review automated tests.
