Garver is seeking a
Project Manager
in our Fayetteville, Rogers, Conway, Fort Smith, or North Little Rock, AR offices to join our Arkansas Water team. The Project Manager will manage projects involving design reports, studies, technical memoranda, detailed plans, and specifications. The role requires working closely with internal and external clients to exceed their expectations. Additionally, the Project Manager will collaborate with other PMs to mentor staff, coordinate schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure the delivery of quality products that adhere to Garver standards. Key Responsibilities include: Design and manage projects related to water conveyance and distribution, wastewater conveyance and collection, pipeline inspection and rehabilitation, water and wastewater master planning, and treatment facilities. Coordinate with support disciplines and regulatory agencies. Ensure quality assurance and quality control. Travel periodically as needed for projects, conferences, and marketing. Routine functions as a Member of the AR Water Team: Possess technical competence in water or wastewater and civil engineering. Manage scope, budget, and schedule for project teams. Develop detailed project instructions, scope, effort estimates, and manage project budgets. Ensure work quality and manage time effectively. Maintain accurate project accounting. Prepare and deliver reports to clients and team leaders. Prepare Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans. Manage construction engineering administration locally. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, biological, or similar engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Experience with Civil3D, ArcGIS. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. Licensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months. 8+ years’ experience in the water/wastewater utilities market. Preferred Skills: Passion for client service and the water industry. Strong work ethic and communication skills. Master’s degree in relevant engineering field (preferred). Experience with technical presentations at conferences.
