Entry Level General Production & Assembly
Pro-Active Engineering has openings for Entry Level General Production & Assembly. In these positions, you will perform various tasks involved in general assembly of printed circuit boards, including hand insertion of electronic components, trimming wires, clipping leads, programming and testing boards, box build assembly, and printed circuit board cleaning.
The training, along with IPC Standards training, will prepare you for additional opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities
Follow internal assembly process documentation ensuring product meets internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Depanelize printed circuit boards.
Hand insertion of thru-hole to Class 2 IPC standards.
Trim, clip, tin wires and leads.
Prep raw components for secondary operations.
Hand wash finished printed circuit board assemblies.
Properly label or mark circuit boards.
Keep an accurate count of product at your workstation while inspecting every piece for defects.
Glue, epoxy, mask and conformal coat circuit boards.
Program and functionally test circuit boards. Package and box assemblies as required for shipping.

Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
ITAR REQUIREMENTS- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident, (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
