Overview
Entry Level General Production Assembly role at Pro-Active Engineering Apply to join the team and gain opportunities within the company. This role involves general assembly of printed circuit boards and related tasks, with training including IPC standards. Responsibilities
Follow internal assembly process documentation to ensure product meets internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. Depanelize printed circuit boards. Hand insert components (through-hole to class 2 IPC standards). Trim, clip, and tin wires and leads; prepare raw components for secondary operations. Hand wash finished printed circuit board assemblies; label or mark circuit boards. Maintain an accurate count of product at the workstation; inspect every piece for defects. Glue, epoxy, mask, and conformal coat circuit boards as required. Program and functionally test circuit boards. Package and box assemblies for shipping. Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED). ITAR requirements: to conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred; knowledge of electronic components and equipment is a plus. Physical demands: prolonged sitting; good dexterity with small parts; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; manual handling as required. Benefits
