Project Surveyor
to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring that our land surveying services are accurate and aligned with our high standards. You’ll bridge the gap between disciplines within project teams and help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. Location: Rochester, NY with eight offices throughout NY, PA and TX. Salary Range:
$83,200 - $91,520 annually
Responsibilities
Supervise survey technicians, field crews, and CADD technicians on the project team.
Perform routine and complex survey calculations and control adjustments.
Perform, assign, or assist with records research and CADD drafting assignments.
Analyze boundary evidence and parcel/ROW records to determine property boundaries and Rights of Way.
Determine and document property boundaries, easements, and land ownership details to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Create detailed topographic maps and surveys for project planning and design.
Maintain positive client relationships and facilitate deliverables to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Provide QA/QC on survey work for all sectors.
Mentor less experienced project team members.
Requirements Education & Experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
Experience with surveying software and equipment (AutoCAD, GPS, total stations, data collectors).
Previous experience in land surveying.
Professional Survey License required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of all aspects of land surveying, including boundary determinations, control adjustments, topographic surveying/mapping, NYSDOT Standards and Procedures, and ALTA requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation preferred.

Travel to project sites located throughout New York on an occasional basis.
Access and navigate construction sites and uneven terrain; exposure to field conditions.
