As a member of the ShipBob Team, you will work closely with the supply chain ICQA team to monitor inventory activities for all clients across each fulfillment center while allowing existing operations team members to remain focused on their day‑to‑day responsibilities. This position is critical to maintaining sustainable growth and scalability from an operations perspective.

Role Description:
This role reports to the Area Manager, Supply Chain ICQA (backup is the same). Your primary responsibility is to monitor inventory activities for all clients at each fulfillment center, ensuring that inventory variances are resolved quickly so outbound orders can be fulfilled. You will work closely with Operations, ICQA Lead, and other stakeholders to maintain product safety, quality, and traceability.
What you’ll do:
Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by the Operations team.
Perform physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile variances.
Communicate updates and relay important information to ICQA Lead.
Resolve merchant‑facing requests around inventory issues.
Understand cycle counts and inventory control processes according to written SOPs.
Ensure inventory variances are researched and resolved in a timely manner to support outbound order fulfillment.
Notify the MC team of any orders that cannot be fulfilled due to inventory discrepancies.
Maintain product safety, quality, and legality through correct handling, storage, and distribution. Follow SOPs, report concerns, support traceability, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Perform additional duties as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems in a timely fashion.
Determine inventory discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
Possess effective written and verbal communication skills with strong reading comprehension.
Multitask and handle multiple issues simultaneously without stress.
Pay close attention to detail.
Lift up to 50 lbs without health limitations.
Stand and walk continuously for an 8–10 hr shift.
Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and push/pull.
May be required to flex into other departments as needed.
