Patient Service Representative PRN (As Needed)

Responsibilities
Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
Register patients, input demographic and insurance information into the RIS and verify accuracy.
Explain forms and assist patients with completion via paper or tablet.
Process necessary paperwork, scan documents to link to patient records, and maintain confidentiality.
Collect patient payments and explain benefits, including insurance verification when needed.
Prepare paperwork for future appointments and ensure all diagnostic tests have required orders.
Schedule and reschedule patients as needed.
Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments using the Daily Reconciliation Report.
Participate in front‑office training to stay abreast of policy and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma.
Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of cash handling.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructions.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and to sit/stand for long periods.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of RIS software preferred.
Workplace Information
Location: 5757 Main Street, Suite 102, Frisco, TX 75034
Hours: PRN As Needed, 24 hours per week, 7:00 am‑4:30 pm
