Are you a results‑driven, team‑oriented leader? This is the opportunity for you! As a Project Manager I, you are responsible for managing a project from design to release for customers, monitoring the project from initiation through delivery and program closeout. You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field‑based employees on technical matters as needed. This role can, and often is, used as a Control Account Manager on a larger program. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: proposal development, planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and program closeout. You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. The Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn‑key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field, internships not included in total years of experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Demonstrated experience in managing a project

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment

Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules

Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or similar tool

Experience with developing budgets and managing projects to those budgets

Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution

Experience in resource planning and management during project execution

Experience with risk management planning and documentation

Familiarity with government contracting and regulations

Important Notice This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
