As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross functional teams; help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; utilize digital tools; use perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Value the member's experience in the meat area; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work; comply with company policies and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes. Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members. Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club; answering questions. Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Receiving & stocking merchandise in an organized manner. Maintaining inventory to avoid stockouts and overstock. Benefits
