What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and mass productions; prep for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting purchases; handle payments and locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; identify roadblocks and assist in training.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply related action plans and Open Door Policy in daily work.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.
