Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines; manages cold chain and inventory; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; understands product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology to support production, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; reduces waste; provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, handling payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences, and motivates others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; helps identify and address roadblocks and training needs. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows the Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes and practices.
