ALKU
Overview
Coordinate the planning, documentation, and execution of mechanical/process-utility work in a live semiconductor fab. Scope includes cleanroom HVAC, PCW/CHW/glycol, CDA/vacuum, exhaust/abatement, tool hook-ups, and interfaces to bulk/specialty gas, UPW/WWT. Focus areas: schedule, submittals/RFIs, material tracking, change control, QA/turnover, and shutdown logistics. Day-to-Day
Run weekly/daily look-aheads, pull-plan sessions, and constraint removal with GC/trades; align work to production-safe access and shutdown windows. Drive submittal/RFI workflow, drawing updates, and spec compliance; manage BIM/field redlines (Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam). Track procurement & materials (valves, coils, pumps, pipe/duct, supports); maintain delivery logs and readiness-to-install status. Coordinate tool hook-ups (mechanical scope): verify utility matrices, drops, valve orientation/flow, labeling, and supports (racks/trestles/stands). Support QA/QC & commissioning: schedule/witness pressure & leak tests, TAB/balance, equipment rotation checks; compile as-builts, O&M, PSSR. Maintain change logs (COs/NCRs), meeting minutes, action trackers, and status reports; escalate risks with mitigation plans. Orchestrate permits/LOTO, hot-work, confined space, lift plans with EHS; coordinate AHJ and owner walk-downs. Must-Have Skills
4–8+ years coordinating mechanical/process-utility projects in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or data center environments. Fluency with cleanroom HVAC, PCW/CHW, CDA/vacuum, exhaust/abatement, and interfaces to gases/UPW/WWT. Strong grasp of schedule management, RFIs/submittals, procurement tracking, and turnover documentation. Proficient reading P&IDs/mechanical plans and using Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam; confident with Excel trackers and action logs. Safety-first mindset with LOTO, hot-work, confined space fundamentals; excellent communication with trades and owner reps. Seniority level
