Coordinate day-to-day field execution for mechanical/process-utility work in a live fab environment. Packages include cleanroom HVAC, PCW/CHW/glycol, CDA/vacuum, exhaust/abatement, tool hook-ups, and mechanical interfaces to bulk/specialty gases, UPW/WWT. Focus is on schedule, safety, quality, and turnover during retrofits, shutdowns, and tie-ins.
Day-to-Day
Run weekly/daily look-ahead plans with GC/trades; sequence tasks around production-safe access, shutdown windows, and tool owner constraints. Drive workface planning: permits, LOTO, hot-work, confined space, lift plans, and pre-task plans/JHAs; coordinate EHS walkthroughs. Manage RFIs/submittals, material delivery tracking, and BIM/field alignment (Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam redlines); resolve clashes with Structural/Electrical/Tools. Orchestrate tool hook-ups (mechanical scope): verify utility matrices, drops, valve orientation/flow, labeling, and support hardware (racks, trestles, stands). Support QA/QC: witness pressure/leak tests, TAB/balance checks, insulation and labeling; log NCRs and drive corrective actions to closure. Lead field walks, punchlist creation, and turnover documentation (as-builts, O&M, PSSR) with GC/trades and Facilities Ops. Communicate progress/risks daily to project engineer/owner’s rep; update constraint logs, interface meeting notes, and schedule impacts. Must-Have Skills
4–8+ years coordinating mechanical/process-utility construction in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or data center environments. Strong field execution in operational facilities: shutdown planning, tie-ins, tool moves, and live-area protocols. Working knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, PCW/CHW, CDA/vacuum, exhaust/abatement, and mechanical interfaces to gases/UPW/WWT. Proficient with BIM/plan reading and redlines (Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam); solid command of RFIs, submittals, and material tracking. Safety-first: fluent in LOTO, hot-work, confined space, rigging/lift coordination, and EHS reporting. Seniority level
