Job Summary Senior Electrification Program Specialist is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of products and services within Alliant Energy’s Electrification program. This includes product and service ideation, managing the portfolio funnel and funnel gate checks, and ensuring market research is completed to support existing products, new product development, product implementation, and management. The position coordinates cross‑functional relationships across Alliant Energy to ensure complex customer solutions are evaluated, researched, and implemented to achieve and/or exceed customer sales goals, loyalty, and satisfaction.

What You Will Do

Lead research focused on technical, policy, and/or financial impact of electrification technologies, solutions, and programs.

Work closely with senior staff to perform policy and market assessments, including making informed recommendations based on independent analysis.

Lead technical assistance requests and provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Support Alliant Energy’s strategic planning by leading the product portfolio of their key customer segments and identifying unmet customer needs, market trends, and sales growth opportunities.

Assist in developing and maintaining electrification strategy roadmap, including performing scouting of electrification technology and innovative solutions.

Support and potentially lead electrification rate and tariff filings, including data analysis, written testimony, responding to data requests, and stakeholder management.

Engage in discussions with third‑party stakeholders and intervenors.

Lead and direct Alliant Energy Facility Services and Fleet departments to complete site assessments for future electrification initiatives and provide equipment recommendations. Work with Project Management teams to ensure successful implementation of programs and pilots.

Lead electrification programs including but not limited to internal light‑duty fleet, working with various internal stakeholders and program sponsors to ensure effective implementation and rollout of programs.

Engage in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s values and help deliver on our purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Preferred.

Required Experience

Five years of experience in research, analytics, project management, utilities, or a closely related area.

Pay Range $91,500 - $126,000

This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
