Sev1Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILS Manager) to join our dynamic logistics team. As an ILS Manager, you will play a critical role in coordinating and executing logistical operations to ensure the smooth flow of materials, supplies, and services within our organization. Responsibilities
Support follow-on development of IPS element within PdM Network Modernization systems portfolio product lines in the early development, planning and staffing of critical design documents necessary to field tactical communication system capabilities to the objective Force IAW AR 700-127, AR 700-142 & DA PAM 700-142. Provide logistics engineering support in developing Depot Level, Direct Support and Organizational level technical supply and support in support of NetMod Product line to include maintenance for all components covered by existing warranty, CLS or organic demand supported. Provide an inventory of repair and replacement parts. Provide field support to the various PdM Network Modernization systems, as required. Interface and provide engineering support to resolve repair and replacement troubleshooting faults with the assistance of the helpdesk and technical assistance teams. Provide a seamless process with existing maintenance warranty or organic maintenance concept strategy. Develop two-level maintenance concepts involving field level and Depot level maintenance for PdM Network Modernization systems. Provide depot level support including maintenance of Program of Record and NS-E; inventory management, spares/supply support, and emergency on-site field service, activity reports, accountability of repair activities in the field, submit failure analysis data to help desk and track material end-to-end closing out all work requests. Provide briefing, establish fielding and refurbishment schedules coordinating with stakeholders/outside activities pertaining to fielding, refurbishment and reconstitution in forward locations. Serve as expert logistics management specialist directing, developing, and performing IPS for major complex systems with new and emerging technologies. Apply mastery of IPS concepts to oversee logistics elements for one or more acquisition programs. Responsible for cradle to grave intensive logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment. Performs planning, liaison, contract monitoring, equipment/interface, and coordinating with tri-service and contractor personnel; initiate and maintain contacts with tri-service and key contractor personnel. Implement PEO/DA/DOD policy and procedures of acquisition to field fully supportable systems/equipment and meet operational requirements for the soldier in the field. Resolve complex logistics problems affecting numerous activities and units spread over large geographical areas. Develop, initiate and oversee the implementation of corrective actions and program enhancements. Manage the processes of planning, directing, managing, monitoring, evaluating, and correcting deficiencies in ILS throughout the research, development and acquisition process. Support includes the management and interface with logistics element managers, contract support services, training facilities, Integrated Logistics Support Management organizations and other service users at contractor facilities and government activities. Develop, interpret, and/or apply a wide range of DOD, Army and PEO acquisition and logistics policies, directives, and precedents. Coordinate, prepare, evaluate and review IPS management and planning documents assuring tailoring, streamlining, and acquisition reform are considered and applied. Develop documents used for preparation of basic life cycle funding and budgeting to support the acquisition of the system/equipment. Establish or ensure the establishment of IPS requirements for acquisition documents and contracts. Monitor the status and quality of IPS development services and products. Evaluate progress in attaining IPS objectives. Serve within IPS management teams. Recommend new logistics support concepts. Apply the principles of life cycle management, and as component expert, consider facilities, equipment, geographic/climate conditions, and usage projections to oversee and monitor the planning and implementation of comprehensive DoD component logistics programs to include integration with environmental and safety requirements. Evaluate plans and develop and assure the implementation of corrective actions and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns. Coordinates extensively with representatives of other commands, DOD components, and contractors. Leads/performs special studies. Coordinates with representatives of other components and organizations concerning precedent setting, controversial, sensitive and/or complex issues and their impact on military requirements and related functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Provide logistics engineering support in developing Depot Level, Direct Support and Organizational maintenance. Qualifications
Must have a SECRET level clearance; Candidate must be a US Citizen HS diploma or GED 5 years experience as a Logistician or have a background in acquisition logistics DoD Experience Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills BA or BS degree DAIWA Level I, II, or III Acquisition Lifecycle Logistics
