VP - Bank Loan Quality Control Associate
Join to apply for the VP - Bank Loan Quality Control Associate role at WhiteCap Search Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President, Bank Loans professional to join the Loan Quality Control team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a go-to expert in all aspects of bank loans while collaborating closely with a wide range of internal partners; as well as external stakeholders such as broker-dealers, outsourced vendors, service providers, and custodians/trustees. This is a hybrid position! Responsibilities
Oversee outsourced operations functions including bank loan trade settlements, cash reconciliation, and CLO cash management; drive settlement priority for liquidity and ramp-ups. Perform daily quality control checks on outsourced processes. Execute retained operations functions such as fund setup in ClearPar, SSI setup in ADFlow, and KYC pre-approvals with agent banks. Provide daily operational support to U.S. and U.K. Loan Trading Desks. Act as a point of escalation for custodians and trustees. Monitor and maintain daily and monthly trade metrics, including volumes, aged trades, and delayed compensation. Support projects and process improvements as needed. Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of LSTA/LMA bank loan settlement processes and the full bank loan life cycle (from trade allocation and settlement through loan activities, corporate actions, and restructurings). Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Finance or a related field required. 6 years of experience in bank loan middle office/operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Strong record of academic achievement, including a high GPA.
